Harley was my friend. I talked to him 3 times a week. This a great to hear. Thank you for sharing! He was fine....that was until the teens and young adults on drugs started tormenting him. He told me that they wouldn't leave him alone and that he feared for his life. He was a gentle soul to me. He tried to reach out; he told about the food he received was being poisoned, and that he did nothing wrong...but no one listened. No one cared enough to really listen. He told me he CHOSE to be outside on the street because of his fear of doors and being inside. I helped him every chance I could, to make sure he had a full belly. Although he refused help, he still tried to reach out...he wanted to talk....I listened to him...I tried to speak up, and now some people from Berwick are saying my life is in danger because of it. The real issue is not his situation....its his death....its too bad that no one sees it the way I do. Berwick is a small town with a lot of drug traffic and I don't mean marijuana.......I met a boy who's mother is a nurse----she's selling prescription drugs to many people....adults and teens which she gets from a local nursing home...I saw a police officer dealing to a teen in a parking lot.....methadone and crack addicts are lurking in the dark areas and they all come out at night....Berwick is corrupted and its covered up by the good people of high importance....his death was tragic...and its so very sad. RIP my friend.
