Our thanks to all those who supported our fundraising Gala
in honour of the founding of HMCC and Bill Mulhall on October 5th
and to members of the public who came out for our AGM on October 24 and our
October 29 meeting for public input into future options for HMCC.
On Saturday, November 23, Churchill House will be decorated
for Christmas by Paula Huntley and David Ripley as a Christmas House Tour
Charity Event. The Red Barn will be open
with local and specialty vendors selling local crafts and unique items for
Christmas. Items will be collected for
our local Food Bank and there will be many visitors from out-of-town enjoying
Hantsport. Don’t miss this special
event. Tickets are $15 for adults and $7
for children at the door.
Plans are also underway for the annual HMCC Christmas Dinner
to be held on Saturday, December 7th. Tickets for this event will be available at
Town Hall on Wednesday, November 6.
Over the next few months the Board will be working to
develop a business plan for the development of HMCC. We are also planning a series of events of
interest to a wide variety of citizens.
Please check the HMCC website at www.thehmcc.ca
regularly to see what events are coming up.
