SALUTING THE HANTSPORT FIRE DEPARTMENT

The Friends of the Hantsport Library's A Salute to the Hantsport Fire Department on April 27 was an afternoon of recollections, laughter and music.

The huge number of great photos demands two separate postings:
The Veterans and the young people who attended  - will be posted today.
The program - will be posted later this week.

THE VETERANS AND THE YOUNG PEOPLE

Jim Salter with his grand-daughter Nyla and his daughter Macey Rolfe.

First Waltz played by Eliza Stokesbury-Price.

Red Racecar played by Geo Chebl and written by Rebekah Maxner. 


Ezra Mendel read the poem When Sparks Fly.  

Anna Lee Seymour played Tickled Pink.


Nathaniel Maxner played Red Line by Rebekah Maxner.  

Clara Maxner won the prize for the May birthday child. 


Nyla Rolfe won the prize for being the youngest one at the event.  

Hantsport students in Primary and Grade 1 made the poster.

Rebekah Maxner's first year student played Feeling Low Key written by her teacher.

Donations were collected in a fireman's boot. Total after expenses was $277.08.
