TEDDY BEARS FROM 1920s

Once a year, members of the Hantsport & Area Historical Society bring treasures from home to show to fellow members. At the April 23rd meeting held at the Minas Basin Development Centre, items included a stumpf fiddle, teddy bears from the 1920s, and a cheque perforator from Murray's Mill.

John Harvie and the toys he and his family played with.
"Boys had teddy bears. Girls had dolls," John recalled.

Olive Clark and her lovely Paul Revere lantern.

President David Folker showed a few of his millions of years old whales teeth.
In the winter he combs the beach at Myrtle Beach collecting them.

Raye Myles demonstrated the cheque perforator once used
at Murray's Mill.

It still works.

Raye Myles showed several ship building tools which
he recently acquired.

Garth Scott demonstrated his stumpf fiddle.
