Another dog finds a home through ElderDog

Who wouldn't fall in love with Bella?

Belladonna - "Bella" - has found a home at 49 Avon Street. She joins fellow ElderDog dog Ali.
I received a phone call on May 2 from Tina who is with the group. Two dogs needed a home asap.
The SPCA had referred them to Tina because they were older dogs. The SPCA was full. These dogs needed a home.
I agreed to foster one. Until Tina brought her to the house. I knew I wanted to keep her and so did Ali.
So now we are three!
Her coat was recently trimmed with scissors. I will keep her trimmed but I will take her to a groomer.
Tina's former owner thought she  - her name was Deeogee - had arthritis but couldn't afford to take her to the vet. Instead they took her to the SPCA to have her put down. The SPCA took her to the vet and she is fine. I renamed her Belladonna (beautiful lady.)
She is 10 years old - but doesn't act like it - and is a Bearded Border Collie.

A week or so ago I had a run put in my backyard with a fence leading to it from the back door. So they can both go out for a quick pee etc. But we are also walk - with two leashes!
For years I had two dogs and I was happy with that.
I am happy to have two dogs again.
Going to the dogs - again!
