Giant goldfish for lunch!

Geoff Singleton took these pics in the pond on HWY 1 near Exit 8 A.

The Great Blue Heron watches from the bank. Ignoring a muskrat,
it spears its lunch.

The GBH smacks it on the ground a few times for good measure.

And poses for Geoff. "It's bigger than I expected but I'm sure I can get it down!"
