If you want to open your eyes or your children's eyes to where meat comes from, visit Martock Glen - Mike Oulton's Meat Market on the Chester Road.

I'm not suggesting you see the entire process. But you may see sides of beef hanging from a hook or someone carrying a side of pork to a table which has a huge saw. You may be astonished by the range of meat available - A leg of old goat.

A rack of venison. Ground bison. Free range poultry. And hamburger.
