Alan Syliboy is renowned for his use of Mi’kmaq petroglyphs (rock drawings). From this tradition comes his story of Little Thunder. Through Alan’s various forms of art, a viewer follows Little Thunder as he learns about his Mi’kmaq identity through stories from his Mother and teachings from his Father, Big Thunder. As a provider and soon-to-be Thundermaker, people can watch Little Thunder grow and discover how he made thunder for the first time.
