Walton Church + Avondale Sky Winery = stunning harmony

On May 5, 2011, Hantsport Captain Ray Riley with the help of many people landed the former Anglican Church at Avondale wharf. They had left Walton on May 4 and spent the night off Hantsport's wharf.

Today the building which maintains many of the features of the church stands on a quiet road in Avondale. A remarkable feat. A remarkable winery.

Proud owners are Stewart Creaser and Lorraine Vassalo.  

And, across the street, another church. I wonder who designed the unique steeple.
