Not all members of the Lockhartville branch of Womens' Institute of Nova Scotia are keen or expert crafters! But we all enjoy saving money, having fun and looking good.
At the January meeting, we took t-shirts and converted them into scarves. President Lynda Andres directed the operation.

First, take a t-shirt with no side seams. Later you will stretch the fabric. Impossible to do with seams.
Cut off neck and arms of shirt. Cut body of t-shirt into strips about 1 inch wide.
