Flushable wipes are not flushable in Hantport.

Yesterday I spoke to a neighbour whose toilet was plugged! UGH!

Hantsport plumber David Garland was on the scene fixing the problem.

Flushable wipes may flush in plastic pipes but not in clay or iron pipes which are in use in our  community.

"The wipes are almost like J-cloth or dryer sheets. They don't break down," David said.

So, as a result of these wipes, the sewer was plugged and the main was plugged.

But - all was flushing well by the end of the day.
