We're going to the birds!


Hummingbird sighted in Lockhartville May 9.
Just wondering if you have seen the great horned owl that seems to be guarding the big trees by the driveway up
to Churchill House.   Brett and I could see him high in an evergreen that is opposite the verandah of the house - behind
the corner of the tennis court.   Think there must be a nest but can't see it.   Guess there is still someone who gives a hoot
about Hantsport!  LK

    According to comments on FaceBook and in conversation, a pair of owls was sighted at CH with a chick lying on the ground. People are advised to leave the chick as it is. Do not touch it. If it is touched, the parents may abandon it.
