Motion defeated to save pool.

Council defeated a motion at the Special Council Meeting in May for a $11,000 grant from the town to operate the pool during the 2014 season if the Hantsport Memorial Community Centre approves.

Councillor Margot Bureaux informed council that a number of citizens had met who felt that they could keep the pool operational for the 2014 summer. Angela Pelton, president of HMCC was against the idea.
