RCMP Constable Jeff Bishop aka "Bish"

Jeff Bishop, formerly of the Hantsport Shamrocks and Hantsport, graduated this year as a constable from the RCMP Academy "Depot" Division, in Regina. Jeff is currently working in Lunenburg for six months with another officer. This is a continuation of the basic training program. At the end of that period, he will be on his own and living in Bridgewater.

Many people in the Hantsport area knew him for years as a member of the Hantsport Shamrocks.  Most recently Jeff was a player-coach. During the week he worked at the front desk of Bird's Auto Repair.

Baseball will still be part of his life. Jeff will continue to play on the Dartmouth team in the Over 35 Canadian Nationals in Yarmouth. Every October he joins the Roy Hobbs World Series in Fort Myers, Florida.

All the best to you, Jeff.
Thanks for the info, Lynda King.
