KNOWLEDGE KEEPERS OF MI'KMA'KI - now 24/7

I signed up for the on-line in-class course through Cape Breton University and so did more than 2200.

From Canada and 24 other countries.

And more are joining, according to the Chronicle-Herald Mon. Jan.11/16.

People can register anytime.

It's a free 12-week course. It will cover the Mi'kmaq creation story, oral history and traditions, indigenous governance, and the impact of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

The class is from 6 PM - 8:30 PM.

Personally, I had a problem with the time. I do not want to or will not spend 2 1/2 hours at night at my computer.

But, when I logged in at 6:45, I found the following note, stating I can log on ANYTIME!!

Hey Heather !
We’re so excited to begin this journey with you tonight! Access the live-stream here! We will be starting 6pm AST.
Please remember, if you are planning to watch the class later, you can find all of the recorded classes throughout the course here.
