Hantsport has approximately $100,000 in its reserve fund, according to CAO Rob Frost. He reported this at the May 6 council meeting.

The town will have approximately this amount when the town dissolves. Mayor Zwicker suggests keeping this in reserve until the end. It can be part of the negotiations.

"Anything in reserve belongs to the town and must be spent on the town," Frost explained. It can be used on upgrades to buildings.
