The mill closed on Friday at 11 AM when Minas Basin Pulp and Paper's final linerboard was made.
The paper plant began operating 85 years ago - in 1927. On November 1, the company announced the upcoming closure. Now 135 people are out of work. Some will retire with a pension. Others will look for work.
