Happy New Year to one and all,
As requested at the last meeting of Food Bank I have organized a workshop for Saturday, January 12/2013.If the weather is bad it will be the 19th.A decision will be made on Friday the 11th based on weather forecast.If there is a change of plans I will email on Friday.
Workshop will be from 10 am till 3 pm . Lunch will be provided . The workshop will be at the Baptist church in Hantsport.
The purpose of the workshop is to work on the necessary steps to incorporate the Food bank . We will be doing a mission statement, accountability and specific roles the Food Bank will play in achieving our mission.The facilitators of the work shop will be from Feed Nova Scotia.
Please bring anyone with you that may be interested in assisting us in this endeavor.
I would appreciate if any of the Priests and Ministers could announce our workshop at their weekend services. My contact name can be given out. Chris Fry ...684-1098 ..
Please confirm if you are able to attend so that we will have an idea of the numbers for lunch. If you could let me know by Tuesday January 8th I would appreciate it very much.
