This man - pictured above was Richard Roger as he was.
Now he has transformed himself from the shirt, tie, and suit-wearing man to the free-wheeling businessman you will find behind the counter of The Stuff Shop at 33 Main Street in Hantsport.
Richard sees the shop as the store front for a growing business which is on-line and works with Facebook and Twitter.
His customers include the person walking down Main Street and on-line customers in Windsor, New Minas, Port Williams, Avondale, and Sackville. And beyond.
The inventory is always changing and always include army surplus. Once sold, the merchandise is not re-ordered.
Richard went to school in Hantsport. He is amazed at how many students of his generation are now in business for themselves. Many of them would like to come back to the town and set up businesses here. .And they too realize that today a business can use social media to appeal to a larger consumer base.
If Richard is not in the store when you go in, there will be a clerk. Richard is out somewhere looking for more deals!
