HANTSPORT FOOD BANK GETS NEW FREEZER.

The annual meeting of The Hantsport and Area Community Food Bank Society was held March 27, 2014 at the food bank in Hantsport.

Annual reports were presented and theses reports show that demand for food bank services  is increasing every month. 

The financial donations that we receive allows us to purchase the food products that we require. 

Thank you to all in our community that have supported the food bank.

After the meeting members were shown the new freezer that was purchased from funds received from Kraft Foods  thru the Capacity Fund. This fund is administered by Food banks Canada. This freezer was purchased at Home Hardware in Hantsport and allows us to provide frozen meat products and frozen vegetables to our clients.We sincerely appreciate Kraft Foods support of this fund.
