Dog park funding idea

One of the best places to meet people now in town is the dog park.
I was there this afternoon with Ali and Bela. A man came in with this dog and the two of us humans starting talking while the dogs enjoyed being off their leashes.
Darren moved to town a year ago and believes that Hantsport is the best kept secret in the area. He goes into stores and the staff know his name. He believes in shopping locally.
And he and his dog appreciate the dog park. Darren believes they were among the first to use the park.
When I suggested that there might be a fundraiser for the dog park, Darren said he would support it.
And then he suggested that a box be located at the town hall for donations to the dog park.
Sounds good to me.
How can we make that a reality?
