Bill Preston: "a retired senior"?

That's how Gordon Delaney described Bill Preston who is running for Hantsport town council in today's Chronicle Herald. The article New Council May Be Short-lived appeared in the paper on page A2. The work experience of the other candidates was described in detail.

Anyone who has attended council and COW meetings and heard Bill's questions will realize that there must be more to him than that. There would be more than that to anyone. How about work experience?

Bill worked with Canada Revenue Agency for 28 years at Head Office in Ottawa as well as Edmonton and lastly Halifax. He worked in finance for 15 years. And he worked at Minas Basin Pulp and Power and Canadian Keyes  Fibre.

Gordon will print a retraction and correction in Thursday's edition.
