Changes to my blog

Life is short.
I am spending too much time at my computer.
Therefore, I am cutting back on my blog.

But, I believe the community needs a platform for announcements of public events, promotion of local businesses and information of local stories. Send announcements to me and I will continue to do so.
At a recent meeting of the blog committee - members of the committee are Mary Pyke, Rosanne Foye, Craig Woods, and Lynda King - these questions were asked:

WHO IS DOING WHAT IN THE COMMUNITY OF HANTSPORT?

1. Who do you call if eg the water in your house turns brown?

2. What is Councillor Rob Zwicker doing for Hantsport?

3. What happens to the committee work which the councillors were doing?

4. How will the boundaries be redrawn?

5. Can we have a map of West Hants showing the current districts?

6. Will the town signs be removed?

7. What is the current situation with the proposed seniors' complex?

I leave these questions up to you, the blog readers, to send me answers which I will post either with or without your name subject to my editing.

A big thanks to my committee - particularly Rosanne and Mary who have been with me since February 15, 2007. The Hantsport Public Library has copies of all issues.

I may occasionally look at hard copies of NEWS & VIEWS to see what was happening then.
