This sweet 15-year old face belongs to Casey who needs a new home. Casey recently lost his male companion, and his female companion will soon move to long-term care. Casey’s recent check-up, two weeks ago, revealed only cataracts and a bit of stiffness in his hind end. Aside from that he is in very good health. He is currently being fostered in Dartmouth, NS.
Casey is described as “a great dog–friendly, smart, and loves to play.” He has no history of aggression, is fine with other visiting dogs, although has never lived with other dogs, and loves people including children. He is not good with cats.
Casey is used to lots of love and attention and has not had to spend much time alone. His ideal retirement home would be with someone who does not work outside the home. He is afraid of thunder and fireworks and a fenced backyard is a must. Casey loves his plush dinosaur so a new family must be prepared to adopt his plush mate as well!
