A warrant for my arrest!

Canada Revenue left a message on my phone this morning saying that if I did not return my call, I would face arrest.

I called the number 613-800-3123 because it was an Ottawa area code.

Did I know there was a warrant out for my arrest?

I hung up and called the RCMP. I was told it is a common scam thought to originate in Jamaica. And Canada Revenue would not deal like that.

BEWARE!

    On the same thing....I recently received an E-mail allegedly from FED-EX saying that they have a package addressed to me sitting in Nigeria awaiting delivery.
    Obviously I deleted it as I suspect the next step would be to send a sum of money to ensure delivery....there are so many of these scams about.
