On or around Associated Country Women of the World Day, 29th April 2016, people throughout the world are asked to join in Women Walk the World for ACWW. The aim is to raise ACWW’s image, promote the organization and raise funds.
Some of the members of the Lockhartville group and the Grand Pré groups of Women's Institute of Nova Scotia met in Lockhartville to walk through land belonging to Marley Thornley.
