Answers about a new doctor, a new website, the rink and committee of the whole

I emailed questions to Mayor Rob and CAO Rob on Wednesday morning and received answers later that day.

From CAO Rob:

The Town will be working closely with Capital District Health Authority to look for a Doctor. As in the past search we will help sell the area, and have already developed a few leads with CDHA. 

The goal is to have the town's new website up by the end of January

The committee of the whole meetings will focus on the committees of council - cemetery, fire, public works, recreation, and tourism -  but may discuss other issues if needed.

From Mayor Rob:


Rick King and I have headed up the charge for the past few years getting the rink up and running.  We hope to begin flooding tonight, with any luck it will be ready in a few days, weather depending of course.
