The weather certainly co-operated giving a dry field, sun, and warmish temperatures as the new season started with the Shamrocks at home to the Pictou Albions.
The Shamrocks won the first game 10 to 4. And also won the second game that day.
Deron Moores and Jeff Bishop are sharing the coaching duties. Jeff has an injured arm. They will chose the final team roster in the next few weeks.
Matt Loy pitched the first game and Dyden Schofield the second.
Great start to the season.
re pics - I'm still using a loaner computer on Windows and I am having trouble loading cropped pics on to my blog. I have a great close-up of Ross on 3rd base but I can't put it on my blog. Hope to be back 110 % asap.
