Three new fiddles and a guitar for Hantsport School

Claudette and Brian Hazlett presented a  3/4 fiddle, a 1/2 fiddle, a 1/4 fiddle complete with cases and a guitar to Hantsport School's music program on May 16. The Hazletts made the donation on behalf of the Spring Tune-up Committee of the Annapolis Valley Bluegrass and Old Time Music Association.The school's grades 3 & 4 accepted the instruments and wanted to try them out immediately.

Roger Taylor teaches music as an option to students at the school. They may continue their music study throughout their years at Horton.

Mr. Taylor's grades 3 & 4 were eager to hold the new instruments.
