Members of local Womens Institutes of Nova Scotia participated in the Women Walk the World on April 29, 2013. And Wendy Elliott's picture is on the cover of The Countrywoman, the internatonal magazine of the Associated Country Women of the World!
On that day, women around the world walked at 10 AM local time showing how women work together to connect and support women and communities world wide.
The local walk was orgzanized by members of the Grand Pré and the Lockhartville WINS.
