Letter: Jubilee waiting 9 months for a generator part

Heather i have something you may be interested in,
At jubilee where mom lives, they have a new generator ,was put there a year or more ago.
The residents have been waiting 9 months for a part, when they called house ing before the last blizzard asking , if it is fixed? They were told no, and the residents asked what they do if power is lost? .....they were told in the blizzard if power was out ....to walk to the building in behind (jubilee court) . Now can you imagine these seniors with walkers , walking to the building with no keys to enter, and i ask how would they possibly make that trip ? I am a bit upset , there are 4 residents with walkers , i am sure with the weather conditions that was an impossible request from housing , where do i go for answers ? Why is the seniors being told such an impossible request. And i feel all those residents would not journey outside . I believe 9 months waiting for a part is very unreasonable seeing how this is a new generator .

I will post this but I suggest you also take this concern to Hantsport Town Hall. They will get result.
