Audio of How Does A Village Work meeting

The recording made of the public meeting at the Baptist Church Hall on July 9 on the topic "How does a Village work?" is now on the Town Website.   [Go to Dissolution Information, and then scroll down to "Audio Recordings" and select "Village Meeting"]   Please put a notice to this effect on your Blog? ...  I think it may increase the # of people who listen to it.

Joe Foy organized and introduced it, Ian Dunbar chaired it, Paul Price recorded it. Guests Christine Blair, Village Councillor from Bible Hill and Lewis Benedict, Past President of the Association of [the 22] Nova Scotia Villages answered question. Seventy-five people attended.  The meeting lasted over 90 minutes. More than 30 different people asked questions. The guests stayed until they had answered all questions. No one in the audience left before it was over!   In short, it was a great success as a citizen-based public information meeting.  Perhaps more such meetings can be held before this affair is over.
