Wednesday, September 30, 2015 – Kingsport Mega-tide Mud Walk.
Leader Jim Wolford, jimwolford@eastlink.ca<mailto:jimwolford@eastlink.ca>.
In order to start an hour before low tide, we have to meet at the Kingsport Wharf (drive east from Canning until you cannot go further) at 7:45 a.m. (Alternatively, meet at the Wolfville Wharf parking lot, a block north of Tim Horton’s, at 7:15 a.m.). Rubber boots or old washable shoes are a must. Also bring shovels and pails (but not for collecting of live critters). The walk will end around 11:00 a.m. and mud can be washed off boots etc. at the cottage of Merle and Richard Foot, just above the canteen.
This is from the Blomidon Naturalist Society.
